Julia Rosenfeld is a writer and teacher living in Brooklyn. She recently graduated from New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study with a concentration of “Storytelling in Education.” She has taught ESL, Creative Writing and Theater at many organizations around New York and Minnesota.

Julia has taught with DTE at the Brooklyn International High School and Good Shepherd Services After-School Program at P.S. 27 and used to be DTE's Media and Marketing Manager. She is currently the editor of Play-by-Play magazine.

Julia writes plays, some of which have been performed and published. She has made some movies. Additionally, she is wrapping up work on the Red Hook High pilot with some familiar DTE faces.

Julia used to be a foster mom for cats, but then couldn’t give her first ones back. They still live with her.
