Students at transfer school shareThis high school, located in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn, was opened in 2008 and began a partnership with DTE in 2009.

Led by former SBCHS staff, Georgia Kouriampalis and Janan Eways, DTE has partnered with two Humanities teachers- Sarah Johnson and Greg Ziman- on both Performing Arts in Action and Digital Arts in Action residencies.

In addition to regular residency programming, DTE has also offered Poetry & Performance Week for the last two academic years, bringing in some of the country's best writers, MCs, and spoken word artists to perform and offer master classes for the entire student body. Participating artists have included Caridad De La Luz ("La Bruja"), Kahlil Almustafa, and Rebel Diaz.
